Sheppey United Football Club has announced a brand-new community partnership with the Queenborough Town Council Emergency Food Bank demonstrating the club's continued commitment to supporting local residents in need.
Beginning with their upcoming home fixture against 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟴, the Ites will serve as a regular drop-off point for food and essential item donations at all future home matches.
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽
Getting involved is simple and convenient for matchgoers. Fans attending games at Holm Park are encouraged to bring along non-perishable food items or essentials and place them directly into the designated 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 located at the ground.
• 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻: Starting Tuesday, August 18 (Margate fixture) and at all subsequent home games.
• 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: In-stadium collection container.
• 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲: Non-perishable food items, toiletries, and household essentials.
Organisers have emphasised that any donations at all are greatly appreciated, with every contribution directly helping families and individuals facing hardship within the local community.

In addition to matchday collections throughout the season, Sheppey United has confirmed plans to continue to host the larger annual collection event, aiming to rally even greater support from the local fanbase and the wider Isle of Sheppey community during the winter months.
Whether you are a regular supporter or visiting Holm Park for an away fixture, your contribution can make a vital difference to those who need it most.
Vice Chairman Lee Allen said, "I visited Jackie Constable at the foodbank a few weeks back, and we can certainly try to increase our support to those in need where we can.
"We also have plans for something else thats a bit different to support the Foodbank, details of which we will be excited to announce once we are in a position too - watch this space.
"These donations at every home game will be in addition to the big annual event that Mark Soave, Jackie Constable and volunteers run before Christmas. With the cost of living situation affecting so many, our community club is delighted to be on hand to help"
