Sheppey United Football Club is delighted to announce Sharrocks has agreed to extend its stadium sponsorship at Holm Park.
The deal, which runs until at least the end of the 2026/27 season, also sees the insurance brokerage having its logo on the playing shirt sleeves this season.
Sharrock Insurance Services Ltd, which is based in Sheerness and has been delivering insurance advice for more than 55 years to customers and businesses around the UK, has a long history of supporting the ‘Ites.
“We are delighted Sharrocks has agreed a new stadium sponsor deal,” said Lee Allen, Vice Chairman of Sheppey United FC.
“They have been very good to us since becoming stadium sponsor in January, following an agreement made between Ernie Batten and Sharrocks’ Managing Director Alan Doucy.
“Over the last few months Club Chairman Steve Manning and I have had some good and open discussions with Alan who was also keen to involve a charity or community project into this deal – you will now see we are displaying The Royal Marsden cancer charity logo on the back of the first team tracksuits. This charity was one that provided support to the late Joules Smith, also from Sheppey.”
“Steve and I will be looking forward to working with Sharrocks not only over the course of this season, but long term too.”
Mr Doucy added: “Sharrocks has a long association with Sheppey United - we’ve been a regular sponsor over the years and our founder, Peter Sharrock, even played for the club as a youngster, before going on to be manager and chairman.
“The work Ernie and the Batten family have done to bring football back to Sheppey was impressive and much needed and Sharrocks is proud to support the club and this legacy going forward.”
