A massive thank you to our incredible commercial team that includes β€”Emma Batten, Ian Batten, Kevin Long, Mark Soave, Meg Williams, Josh Mitchell, Paul Bass, and Luke Crouchβ€”who have been working non-stop behind the scenes!

We are absolutely delighted to welcome several new board sponsors: Beano, IES Electrical Supplies, Boyce's Bakery, Damage Assist, The Highlander, and Kohinoor. (And there are a few more exciting announcements coming soon!)

Special praise goes to Mark and Luke for their relentless calling to bring new partners on board. 🀝

It’s been a brilliant week for Kev Long and me so far. We want to thank everyone for the lovely messages, nice comments, and great chats around the groundβ€”and once again, a huge thank you to Steve Manning for all the time and dedication he gave to the club.

πŸ—£ Q&A Update: Kev and I are definitely planning to host a Q&A session for supporters, but we’re just waiting for a clear window in the midweek fixture schedule so we can give it the time it needs.

⚽️ 50/50 Draw: Since introducing card payments, the 50/50 has gone from strength to strength! We’ve already paid out over Β£4,000 in prize money to our supporters. A massive thank you to Raina, Nicola, and Amanda for running it, and thank you to everyone who buys a ticket. Remember, every pound paid out means the club has raised an identical amount straight into our pitch replacement fund!

Charity game tonight! To everyone heading down (or already there), I hope you all have a brilliant evening for a fantastic cause. A huge shoutout to our staff for giving up yet another night to work, and to everyone who has pitched in over our recent home games. Also thanks again to some of our sponsors like Sharrocks Insurance, BH Drilling and BJC Electrical for putting sponsorship into the event

πŸŽ„ Dates for your Diary:

* Christmas Quiz: Just announced! Get your teams booked in now - there may just be a 1st team players quiz team for this one......

Huge congratulations to 16-year-old Freddie "Chip" Godden on scoring his brilliant first senior goal on Tuesday night against Ramsgate in the Velocity Cup!

Chip's milestone is a fantastic testament to the strength and success of the youth system at Sheppey United. Seeing players like Chip and other members of the U23s regularly training and featuring with the first team highlights just how well the pathway to senior football is working at the club.

A massive well done as well to Ian, George, the coaching staff, and the entire squad on an incredible cup runs so far, progressing further in every single cup competition this campaign compared to previous. We now wait with anticipation to find out who our opponents will be in the quarter-finals of the Kent Senior Cup and the 4th round of the Velocity Cup!

Up next, we’re on the road for two tough away fixtures: Crowborough Athletic this Saturday followed by Erith Town on Tuesday. Safe travels to everyone making the trips to support the lads! πŸš—πŸ’¨

Kev and I will occasionally jump on media to do these updates, its the least we can do.

Enjoy your weekend
