Davey Johnson joined up with the Welling Town squad before yesterdays game against fellow loanees in the Lordswood squad.

16 year old Davey played 20 minutes and grabbed an assist I’ve watched the under 23s a couple of times now and lots of the lads have bright futures, hence why we have some on loan already and there will be others going out this week – it’s vital for their development and we’ll be monitoring it by watching them at step 5 and 6.

Davey is way beyond his years in terms of physical presence as well as technically, we have high hopes for him and this is the first step “ – Director of Football Matt longhurst on our young prospects.

Jamie Graham played the whole 90 minutes for Lordswood against Welling Town. Defender Jamie was also recently awarded the Lordswood player of the month award at the SCEFL club.

Team mate Bailey Catherick got just over ten minutes when appearing as a substitute in the same game. Bailey started the previous game for Lordswood.

Goalkeeper Hadley Glock didn’t feature for Lordswood yesterday, but remains in their plans having bagged a man of the match award a few weeks ago
