ITES ADD SOME HEIGHT IN ARNOLD

Club News

Sheppey United are delighted to confirm the signing of Josh Arnold.

Sheppey resident Arnold used to be part of the Ites youth set-up before joining Maidstone as a scholar. The giant striker, (almost 6ft6!), debuted for the Stones 1st team last season, appearing as a sub against Boreham Wood in front of the TV cameras. This came a few days after he had scored twice in a 4-3 Maidstone United FA Youth Cup win at Dartford.

The 19 year-old recently joined up with Azza Grays’ U23s team and found the scoresheet on Monday night v Bearsted U23s in front of the watching Ernie Batten. With the ability to hold the ball up and cause an aerial threat, Josh Arnold will add to the Ites attacking options and may come into contention on Saturday when the Ites visit second placed Sevenoaks Town in the league.
