Attacking playmaker Eddie Allsopp is the latest player to commit to the 2023/24 season.

Eddie Allsopp joined the Ites during the second half of last season, playing mainly in a number 10 role behind the striker, but also occasionally out wide. Able to use both feet, Eddie become a master of the set pieces and soon started contributing to goals either by scoring himself or assisting.

Eddie went on to feature 16 times (2 as a sub), scoring 4 goals and assisting 7 times and winning a couple of man of the match awards.

Speaking about committing for another season, Eddie said, “I’m delighted to be on board for the new season, I needed somewhere to feel at home and Sheppey definitely feels like that.

“The fans were unreal during my time last season,  and I can’t wait to give them more to get excited about this time around”

Manager Jack Midson added “Eddie is a very exciting versatile player who we are delighted to secure following very strong interest in him.

“He will play a big part for us next season, and will only get better from what we have already seen from him last season.”

Eddie will continue to wear shirt number 10.
