Player-Manager Jack Midson has this week finalised his coaching team. This includes deserved promotion within the club which further demonstrates the clubs core believes in aiding development and progression.
Jack Midson (Player Manager)

Former joint top football league two goalscorer. Jack has played for AFC Wimbledon, Oxford, Southend and Barnet to name but a few of his former clubs.
Appointed manager this season, Jack also fits this around managing our new post 16 football academy and managing the U9s.
Jack will still continue playing and this season is the clubs second top goalscorer.

Jono Richardson (Player Assistant Manager)

Jono needs little introduction having previously played 51 games for the Ites and also had a spell as Ernie’s Assistant a few seasons ago where he helped bring in the likes of Danny Leonard and Dan Birch. Heavily experienced at this level, Jono will also play an important part on the pitch this season for the Ites.

Ross Wiles (1st Team Coach)

Ross is our current U18s and U23s manager. Ross has been a key link in the chain that has seen youth players starting to make their way into the senior side. Sheppey based Ross will continue with the U18s and U23s and will play a pivotal role in helping youngsters adjust to senior football. Ross alongside Simon Beard will play an important part from the dugouts when both Jack and Jono are on the pitch.

Simon Beard (1st Team Coach)

“Beardo” is a UEFA B coach and also current assistant to Ross with the U18s and U23s. Beardo started his playing days as a YTS player at West Ham where he would also have duties such as cleaning the boots of Alvin Martin and Liam Brady. Beardo played for many Kent sides including Dover, Margate and Sittingbourne.

Kieran Gooding (Goalkeeper Coach)

Currently in his second spell as a coach at the club and has also coached at Lordswood, Hemel Hempstead and Ramsgate.

Alice Lee (Physio)

Joined the Ites during the summer from Whitstable Town. Alice has a good football background having also served at Margate and Hythe Town. Alice also assists the side with warm-up and warm down duties.

Lee Allen (Analysis and Kit)

Lee provides statistics and analysis reports to Jack’s team and is also responsible for the kit and equipment where he is assisted by Mark Dakin. Lee also handles the clubs social media.
