Sheppey United are delighted to reveal the signing of new goalkeeper Aiden Prall!
Aiden joins us from Corinthian – many of our supporters will remember how well he performed in the second half of the KST cup final to keep the Sheppey United score down to just three goals. In the season just gone by Aiden kept 14 clean sheets for newly promoted Corinthian whilst in step 4 and also made the Kent Online team of the season.
Our new keeper comes with a good football pedigree having been with Charlton Athletic from the age of 8 to 18 before moving over to Corinthian. But now the 23 year old can’t wait to get started with the Ites, “Sheppey has been a club that I’ve admired for many years now – and I’ve always been blown away by how professional the club is run, down to the smallest detail and more so by the incredible support that the club has everywhere they go!
“I’m excited to build a relationship with the fans and be a part of the incredible journey that the club is on and hope to bring many more successes and silverware for everyone to enjoy!”
Equally, Assistant Manger Marcel Nimani was pleased to get this deal completed, “We are delighted to bring Aiden’s experience and quality to the club.
“Both Ernie and myself have monitored Aiden’s progress for quite some time, and we felt it is the right time now to move in and capture his signature. He is a talented and ambitious goalkeeper and yet still very young.
“After having a long conversation with Aiden at the club, it was very clear that he shares the same career ambitions and values as we do. We see this as a long term investment and we feel Aidan has every potential to be part of our aspiring, growing, journey in the seasons to come.”
