Sheppey United are delighted to confirm the return of Warren Mfula to increase competition to a strike force that’s also had forward Dean Grant added to it this week.

Warren Mfula rejoins the Ites having spent last season with the club and scoring 8 goals in 13 games. During the summer Warren’s circumstances outside of football meant he was unable to commit to another season with the Ites but with his state of affairs now changing he’s delighted to be back having played at Corinthian-Casuals  at the start of this campaign.

Dean Grant is a forward we confirmed as a new signing yesterday across our social media platforms. Dean briefly played for the Ites during the 2019/2020 season before it was stopped at the start of the pandemic – returning one goal in four appearances.  Dean has a wealth of experience having played at Herne Bay and a few spells with Faversham Town.

To finish a busy week behind the scenes we also welcome Craig Coles as first team coach. Craig most recently was involved with Canterbury City and brings with him a raft of experience and skills including a UEFA B License and a degree in PE, sport and exercise science.
