Sheppey United are delighted to announce the appointment of new 1st team physio Kallum Morris.
Gone are the old times of the magic sponge and a bucket of water, the role of a physio requires a lot more skill and qualification these days and Kallum finished his physiotherapy degree just over a year ago – and since then he has been working as a physio in a hospital enhancing his experience and knowledge.
The vacancy at Sheppey has now allowed Kallum the opportunity to break into the football arena for the first time, and it’s a task he tells us he is very much looking forward to. “I’m looking forward to the challenge of treating new injuries and working pitch-side at matches with the lads” Kallum added.
He went on to tell us “Whilst at university I enjoyed a kick around with my mates and would regularly go out to watch the football. I have grown up on the island so it will be good to work alongside a local sports team and hopefully see them developing”.
I’m sure you’ll all join us in welcoming Kallum to the Club.
