Hola Ola!

Club News, New Signings

SUFC are please to welcome Ola Williams to the club!

Can you give a rundown of your playing career?

I started with Beckenham Town at 16 then moved on to play with Ashford, Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells.

What was the deciding factor in you joining the Ites? Talk us though how the moved happened?

I like the vision the club had for this season and wanted to be a part of it!

What was your impression of the pitch, stadium and fans?

The pitch was a big factor in signing on as it is the best pitch in the league……I’ve never played against Sheppey away but been told about how loud the fans can be!

What are your thoughts on the forthcoming preseason games that are lined up?

Looking forward to it… it will be good to see how we play together as a team.

Have you played with anyone from the current Sheppey squad in the past?

Yeah… I’ve played with both Haz and Davo and spent most of my academy days playing against coops (Darren Cooper)

What strengths do you have that you can bring to the team?

I bring a lot of energy on the pitch I don’t stop running

Do you have a nickname that previous teammates called you?

Most of my friends call me Waz as second name is Wasiri.

It might be too soon to ask but had Ernie asked you to perform a certain role on the pitch?

At the moment he hasn’t but happy to play wherever he puts me!

What’s was the first training session like at the weekend?

Very hot but a good graft happy to have got it done… more to come!

Do you have a message for the SUFC supporters?

Can’t wait to started and kick on this season and hopefully fight for trophies

Thanks Ola
